Bulimia.com eNews
October 2009
Welcome to the Gürze eNews!
Dear Readers,
It's that time of year again, when the leaves turn color and I start looking for new resources for our eating disorder catalogue! As usual, if you have suggestions or ideas, please send them to me at: Lindsey@gurze.net.
Also, next year will be Gürze Books' 30th anniversary! We've come a long way since we took catalogue photos with a film camera, holding Leigh on a ladder with books laid out on a matte board on the driveway! But our enthusiasm for creating and promoting quality resources on eating disorders has never waned.
Thank you for your long-standing support.
Just for fun, I've attached a photo of Leigh and me with Gürze and her boyfriend, Dash, from the early days. Gürze hasn't changed much, but we sure have!
Blessings, Lindsey |

Inspirational Corner
"Spirituality provides the courage to face our problems and embrace our passions by linking us to a power that is both within and greater than ourselves: a power that is already holding everything together, even when we feel like things might come apart. Strengthening our relationship with this greater power-regardless of what we call it- enables us to stop trying so hard to play God with our lives. Spirituality gives us the courage to let go of our need to have things be a certain way. It allows us to touch that vulnerable place inside: the place that is inherently unstable, uncertain, unfinished, and unsatisfied." Excerpt from The Religion of Thinness. Click here to visit website.
