Dear ED Professionals,

Summer is winding down, which means it's time to check your supply of ED catalogues. Let us know if you need more to pass out at upcoming events, offer to patients, or drop off at your local school to remind them that eating disorders are an important issue!

And just a reminder that our Summer Sale is on till Sept 21st, with 20% off every book we carry. And books published by Gürze are 40% off, including our latest titles, Finding Your Voice through Creativity and The Religion of Thinness.

We're also still accepting and distributing articles, poetry and artwork for people in recovery, which should be submitted to me directly at Lindsey@gurze.net. This month, we posted a new article by Karen Koenig titled, Healthy vs. "Normal" Eating. It's an interesting discussion that I hope will benefit some of your clients.

In book news, two new professional books were just released and we have stock on hand. The first is Acceptance & Commitment Therapy for Body Image Satisfaction, which addresses a difficult topic from a fresh viewpoint. The second is a comprehensive, edited volume from W. Stewart Agras titled, The Oxford Handbook of Eating Disorders. Details below.

Finally, we've been waiting for copies of the Canadian book, Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous, and they've finally come in. Judging from the response to that book, many clients are interested in the 12 Steps for ED recovery.

Happy Back-to-School Everyone!

Lindsey
