Please join us for a one-day conference as we bring together families, community clinicians, and leading researchers to discuss the latest scientific findings on eating disorders. Clinical Behavioral Psychology; cognitive behavioral therapist and EDEN program facilitator. Description: This program will examine the evidence that eating disorders are true biopsychosocial diseases, similar to chemical dependency. It will define various eating disorders and their consequences, explore neurobiological theories of addiction, discuss screening tools used for eating disorders, and provide information on treatment options and resources for eating disorders. This program is part of the FREE, annual Dawn Farm Education Series. All programs are free and open to all; people with a personal or a professional interest are all welcome.
Cost/Registration/CE: Free. Registration is not required. 1.5 hours of free C.E. approved by MCBAP (Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals) is offered for each workshop. A certificate to document attendance is provided on request.

In 1986, she developed Hawaii’s first in-patient eating disorders treatment program at Kahi Mohala Hospital and has been the Co-founder and Director of the Anorexia & Bulimia Center of Hawaii since 1982.
