I have treated adolescents and adults with eating disorders since 1986. Based on the client's need, I provide individual, couples, and family therapy.

Treating eating disorders since 1986

I use psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, and family systems theory to tailor treatment to help each client reach his/her treatment goals. When needed I work collaberatively with a registered dietician, psychiatrists, and primary care physicians. My primary aim is to help clients establish new coping methods so they can manage stress better, build self worth and ultimately give up their eating disorders symptoms. I am familiar with inpatient and residential eating disorders programs. I also have extensive experience treating trauma (sexual and physical abuse), anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. My office is in a professional building near public transportation. There is ample free parking.
