I treat anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. Additionally, I work with adolescents, adults, the elderly, males and females.

Treating eating disorders since 2007

Mental illness is not viewed as an isolated event. Illness has multiple influencing factors, which generally include genetics, personality traits, relationships, social and cultural influences, and life experiences. Therefore, treatment is not focused on searching exclusively for the cause of the problem but instead prioritizes helping the client find the solution. Treatment planning is done collaboratively in that the client and I work together to outline the goals of treatment. Metaphors, systems theory, family therapy, and mindfulness are all incorporated into treatment to help the client reach his or her goals.
My office is centrally located in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego. The building has plenty of parking and wheelchair access.
