Treating eating disorders since 1980

EDRC is one of the pioneering organizations in the field of eating disorders. Since 1980, we have developed and offered specialized treatment programs for the eating-disordered population. We provide a psychotherapy referral service which offers the most up-to-date, professional treatment available for problematic eating behaviors, food obsessions, and body image concerns.

The Center is directed by Judith Brisman, Ph.D. who is well known for her work in eating disorders and is co-author of Surviving an Eating Disorder (Harper Collins). The center emphasizes the need for direct intervention with disordered eating, while maintaining a sensitive exploration of the psychological factors involved. Individual, family,and group therapy are offered. We also run a free monthly support group.
