Harmony Place at St. Joseph’s Villa is an 8-bed adolescent eating disorders residential program offering comprehensive treatment to boys and girls (age 12-18) struggling with an eating disorder.

Treating eating disorders since 2006

The first adolescent residential program in New York State is led by a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals including nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical therapists, dietitians and physicians.

The program offers at least 20 group therapies per teen per week with an additional 8 hours of individual and family therapies. Therapeutic sessions use empirically-based approaches to focus on client needs.

Families are vital components in adolescent recovery plans. From admission through discharge, we work with families to develop recovery plans with their health care professionals. While the program focuses on the interruption and stabilization of the child’s eating disorder symptoms, family members will experience hands-on,family-based therapy sessions to learn about eating disorders and recovery at home. Harmony Place is located on the suburban campus of St. Joseph’s Villa in Rochester, NY
