Metro Behavioral Health Associates offers a comprehensive team approach to the treatment of all forms of eating disorders including Anorexia, Bulimia, binge or compulsive overeating and more. Our services include individual and family psychotherapy, nutritional counseling, medication management, medical monitoring specific to eating disorders, weekly support and therapy groups and an IOP or Intensive Outpatient Program.

Our approach to treatment is compassionate, direct and always collaborative. We provide education, support and straight-talk to help patients understand and resolve long-standing behavior patterns, habits and maladaptive coping methods. Patients learn to identify new ways of coping without also hurting their bodies and relationships.

Our clinicians include licensed psychotherapists, registered dieticians, psychiatrists and physicians. Jennie Kramer served as the Director of the Renfrew Centers for Eating Disorders for 5 years and enjoys active membership with The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), The Eating Disorders Coalition (EDC),The Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), The National Association of Social Work (NASW),The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), The American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA) and serves on the Board of the Westchester Group Psychotherapy Society (WGPS).

We do not participate directly in managed care insurance networks but will provide detailed receipts if one's policy allows for out-of-network behavioral care and we will also consider sliding fees when appropriate.
