A source of tranquility and inspiration, the campus of Timberline Knolls is located just a few miles southwest of Chicago and is situated on a heavily wooded historic 43-acre site, with attractive modern lodges nestled between reflecting ponds, tall pines, and beautiful limestone formations. At Timberline Knolls, we treat the disease and the entire person, not just her symptoms with food or weight. By addressing all of aspects of the disease, we can more effectively treat eating disorders like bulimia and facilitate life-long recovery. I believe in and maintain a holistic perspective in the practice of psychiatry, incorporating biological, psycho-social and spiritual approaches into the individually-tailored treatment programs for each of our residents.
