Recovery is a very challenging and rewarding process to be a part of as a nutritionist. I have been helping others in their recovery for over 25 yrs.

Healing is a spiritual, educational and cognitive process, and therefore, I try and create an environment condusive to all 3. Each person is treated like an individual and while the ultimate goal is to optimize health, the journey to get there is different for each person. We do talk about food, however it is the relationship to food and weight and the power this has taken on in the person with an eating disorder that is vital to understand for recovery to take place. With the formation of a treatment team; therapist, medical doctor, we serve to help restore the individual's health back to physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
