I work with adolescents and adults across the full spectrum of eating disorders. I provide individual, couples and family treatment.

Treating eating disorders since 1985

My private practice office is conveniently located close to transportation and a major medical center. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, psychodynamic and systems perspectives. Although initially symptom-focused to provide immediate relief, I believe it is essential to explore underlying issues that drive the maladaptive eating behavior. These issues may include, but are not limited to, underlying depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, or family of origin issues. I also work collaboratively with other professionals such as internists, psychiatrists and nutritionists to provide a treatment team approach.
