I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and the underlying issues connected to the symptoms.

Treating eating disorders since 1996

I practice psychotherapy in a private practice setting and work within a psychodynamic, relational model where the therapist and client work together to discover the roots of the eating dysfunction. I also help the client find ways to navigate the complex realm of eating, body image and general life management. I conduct individual and group therapy primarily, but do also treat family and couples in coping with ED. I treat the spectrum of eating symptomatology and work with adolescents/adults, men and women and am comfortable working with diverse populations. When necessary, I can refer the client to a nutritionist, medical doctor or psychiatrist for adjunct care.
