Treating eating disorders since 1997

My office is privately accessed from a side street in the village of Wilmette. It is convenient to public transportation and nearby North Shore communities. My approach is collaborative. I believe people are not their problems. I also believe individuals are expert in their own lives while I bring experience and knowledge about the process of therapy and the dynamics and influence of eating disorders. I am interested in the meaning people make of their experiences and joining with them to discover and follow preferred paths. Recovery is often facilitated by including other professionals, such as dieticians and physicians. I act as the client's advocate and the treatment team's leader to support my client's physical as well as psychological well-being.
