REVIEWS: “Alone the chapter on ‘The Sensitivities that Heal and Hinder’ by Ken Nunn would have justified a third edition of this book, but there is more, much more, of value to the clinician in these newly revised chapters. The information reviewed here from neuro-imaging studies, a fresh look at etiological possibilities, and Simon Gowers and Francess Doherty’s review of prognosis and outcome have made this edition not only more useful to the theoretician, but of value to the clinician struggling to help the families of children with eating disorders understand the state of the art and science.” “This is an excellent book with contributions from a wide range of experts in the field. It is comprehensive and everybody working in the field will find it invaluable.”
