ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Rachel Quast, MA, is an author, dynamic speaker, group leader, and counselor. She educates doctors, educators, counselors, social workers, camp leaders, churches and students on eating disorders. In addition, she leads support groups and is a counselor for those experiencing anorexia, bulimia, and compulsive overeating. She is the president and founder of SHED (Self-Healing through Education), an organization dedicated to educating the public and supporting people with eating disorders. She is also a member of ANAD (Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders) and received life-coaching training from the Coaches Training Institute.
