ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

For over 25 years, Suzanne has provided counseling and psychotherapy for children (ages 9 – 12), adolescents, adults, couples and families. She is one of the two founding partners of Century Mental Health in Columbia, Maryland. Suzanne holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Maryland and a Masters degree (MSW) from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. In 1995, she received her CEDS certification from the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP). In 2007, Suzanne became an IAEDP Approved Supervisor in Eating Disorders, one of 24 in the United States and the only one in Maryland.
